On a cold cloudy December day I set of for a final trip to Heathrow for 2020, in a small window between lockdowns ! I parked as usual at Hatton Cross tube station £12 for the day knowing my car would be secure, I walked a short distance to the northern runway for 45 minutes before operations were changed to the southern runway and a trip to the famous Mrytle Avenue !! As always the spotting was varied with some new spots including Singapore airways, cargojet and a old livery TAP. As always the highlight was the A380 on very short finals ! Between dodging the showers a beautiful rainbow appeared allowing me to take some special shots of planes coming through it. Myrtle Avenue was quiet by usual standards with just a handful of other spotters. as the light and temperature began to lower I made my way back home to see how my photos had come out
